Studio TEOS (TEOS) Studio Teos S.r.l.
was founded in 1989: the partners carried on activity of research for the University of Milan. At present Studio Teos deals with projects and consulting in the field of the New Information Systems, with particular reference to
Multimedia/Internet Communication, Open & Distance Learning (ODL) and Electronic Commerce.
Studio Teos is also specialized in education and in advanced researches in the fields of User
Interfaces, Multimedia, Expert Systems, Hypertexts, Relational and Object Oriented Data Bases, Groupware, Electronic Payments.
Studio Teos has recently developed a specific software system, available also in English,
accessible from Internet, able to support a training and educational program in all its components and phases. Also from remote sites and places.
By using the many tools the system allows, it is possible to create on
line courses and support them from the managerial, didactical/assessment and communicative point of view. One may thus create the courses, register the students or participants, create the structure of the courses,
publish didactic documents on-line.
Moreover the system also supports the evaluation aims, by providing a set of tools useful to monitor the learning process and activities (on line tests, questionnaires, reports).
Finally it supports the interpersonal communication and the cooperative learning, by a set of functions which give access to electronic mail communications and collaborative thematic newsgroups. Studio
Teos has constituted a Service Centre in the field of Net Learning, a centre in which a team of experts is able to answer to the specific demands of every training context; the centre offers specific methodological
support on distance course design and management and on learning /teaching strategies, as well as technical support and advice on the main platforms for Distance Education, it also develops tools, applications and
personalized solutions for the web training, among which the CONFAD platform. |
